A real “pro-life” movement would ban assault rifles while enacting Medicare for All, paid sick leave, universal childcare, and a living wage.
@rbreich ... and had we mentioned the death 'penalty'?

@rbreich As well as "no" to guns and "yes" to a health service, a "pro-life" movement would also want to ban the death penalty.

But none of these things are important to properly patriotic Americans, it seems, because the "right to life" is only in the Declaration of Independence, not in the Constitution, so it doesn't count.

@rbreich HA! There's no such thing in Merca on the Right!
@rbreich they're pro-birth, not pro life
@rbreich Conversely, a real “pro-choice” movement would allow assault rifles while enacting Medicare for Those Who Want It, employer optional sick leave, parents choosing childcare, and no minimum wage.
@rbreich "pro life" means natural selection
@rbreich Back the Blue people should know that our police officers are on the front line against these high-powered attack rifles. If they cared about police, they wouldn't encourage the proliferation of war weapons.
@Bratticus @rbreich more rifles means less cops?
I can think of 1312 reasons that's great.
@rbreich ban them for the cops and military as well
@rbreich the “pro-life” movement is nothing more than a religious extremist cult.
Brainwashed hypocrites, every o e of them.
@rbreich don’t forget outlawing the death penalty nationwide.
@rbreich assault rifles are not going to go away, you can be pro-life and not be an idiot with a gun. I agree with the rest.
@rbreich I've stated this many times before, I'll keep stating it, I'm a true pro-lifer which means pro-medicare-for-all, and I'm pro-choice, and the two are not in conflict!

@rbreich

Count me in as ‘pro-life’ and add Universal Basic Income!

@rbreich - And Medicare would include adequate dental, hearing, and sight.
@rbreich
And access to abortion for those who need it.
