One could write an excellent study of our times based solely on the reading of airport books. A proper Zeitdiagnose, as Germans would call it.
I am, however, super curious about what they (still) don't teach you at Harvard Business School, as much as I am curious about what they do teach there. I can't really tell if I'm a target audience for that one or not...
Happy Sexy Millionaire would be my obvious first pick (I mean, don't we all wanna know what's in it?), though it's obviously in competition with F**k Work. Let's be honest, we all need that book.
Speaking of the books we need, has anyone read this one? Any *actually* useful tips in it? Asking for a friend.
Coincidence? Tough call. Though I feel sorry for Stanley there, I kind of like him.
Fun fact: Surrounded by Idiots is both place 3 AND 6 in this ranking. The demand must be high for that one, that's for sure.
@jelena3121 is that a sequal? I read "what they teach you at HBS" and that was a useful read - if you are writing together an ethnography of business school practices.
@AlexMitterle I'm not aware, but it's possible. HBS curriculum seems to be highly generative for the airport book genre, for obvious reasons I guess.
(edited to add the other photo, even though I swear I uploaded both when tooting this the first time)
