Goblin, panicking: "Death is calling me!"
Reaper: "If it's ringing the doorbell, it's a friendly death. Calm down."

Y'all these two are hilarious!

@shadyspotlight I love that show so much
@rLok I picked it up after hearing it was good, and so far they were right! I'm only on ep 5... these episodes are long! I gotta ask though, does it have a sad ending?
@shadyspotlight no, but it’s a roller coaster before you get to there
@rLok ahh okay. Just wondered if I needed to prepare myself. πŸ‘
I already feel like I have whiplash from that teenager's antics. She's super happy, then she's totally bummed, then she's over it partially and faking being happy, and then she's intentionally being annoying, and then trying to be a good human, and like... this is absolutely true to life teenager and is one reason I didn't have kids.πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
@shadyspotlight it’s not easy being the Goblin Bride!
@rLok the bride part's a little awkward. Can't they just be friends? 🀭
@shadyspotlight yeah, it is one of those shows with a LARGE age difference - but they handle it reasonably well, considering.
@rLok yeah, even discounting about 950 of his years, there's still an obvious gap. I remind myself that his lady in his first life was probably the same age as her.
@shadyspotlight the love-hate friendship between those two is really so so good. I think the only other love-hate male friendships that come close would be of the three male leads in Mr. Sunshine. I *did* enjoy Doh Kyungsoo and Kim Seon-ho's friendship in 100 Days My Prince, too.
@jillithd ooh I haven't watched Mr. Sunshine, what's that one about?
@shadyspotlight it it about the end of the Joseon era, just at the turn of the 1800s to 1900s, as American and Japanese forces both start trying to take over the country. There is the boy who grew up as a slave and escaped to the US who comes back in the US military. The rich boy who tried to escape his family by moving to Japan. The butcher's son who escaped to become a yakuza in Japan. The Joseon rebel forces trying to save their country. The rich girl who has to adapt from the Joseon she and her family know to the Korea of the 20th century. So many great stories told.

@jillithd that sounds fun! I'll put it on the list.😊

Have you had a chance to see Hidden Blade yet?
