Years later, Scott Adams said that the show got canceled because he's white. The truth is that it was consistently one of the lowest rated shows on broadcast TV.
Weirdly enough, one of the show's final plot lines involved Dilbert getting pregnant with an alien baby or something.

I was probably too young to realize how dumb the books were. I probably thought I was smart for them at the time.

Jonathan Polley@parkermolloy I remember trying to watch the first couple of episodes and it was not good. Trying to turn the comic into a TV show is like trying to turn South Park into a movie, there just isn't enough material there.

The Human Arkle@parkermolloy I liked the show TBH, but I think it helped a lot that unlike with the strip Adams had people above him who could say "No, we're not doing that." Also that voice cast was stacked. And the theme song is still epic, even now.
