@charlesornstein @ProPublica this happens a lot. Kids are sent to these reunification camps, forced to live with their abusers and the other parent has to pay for it and often can’t even see the kids.

@charlesornstein @ProPublica Out of so many awful aspects of this, I find it absolutely horrifying that courts think it ok to send a child across the country to spend 90 days at an "undisclosed location" with an estranged parent. If a parent did this without a court order, it would clearly be a crime. Our country needs to get over the idea that getting used to suffering is how your deal with trauma.

Parental alienation is a real problem and it affects dads the most. It is usually a vindictive ex taking the one thing he loves away from him, his kids. It is usually brainwashing the kids against their dad.

@charlesornstein @ProPublica The "dad" is STILL BEING investigated for abuse! The judge is demanding children be put in the immediate control of an adult who is UNDER INVESTIGATION.
