I wish #Notion and #obsidianmd had a baby.

Love the idea of Obsidian being hosted locally and the graph view. Really dislike how tables and databases are handled (Advanced Table plugin).

Anyone in the #PKM community know of an alternative app which acts as a sweet spot between both Notion and Obsidian? I do not need collaboration functionality.

@veitia There’s a Notion-Like Tables plugin that’s still available in the repo that a lot of people seem to like but unfortunately is no longer being updated. With any luck someone will fork the code and continue development.

It was the same for me! Take a look at @[email protected]. Unfortunately not yet locally hostable, but the developers work closely with the users - you can vote for it (is also my wish, as well as password protection), there is an extra Discord for communication with the developers and other users.
Tried Notion and Obsidian and it was just too much of everything for me. I am very happy with Capacities 🙌 #pkm

@veitia The Database Folder plugin solved this problem for me. YMMV.
