David J. Atkinson@JoshuaHolland I don’t know how an ethical teacher could continue under the book censorship policies in Florida (other than due to the imperative of bringing home a paycheck). I think only collective action could make a difference. I’m not familiar with the labor rules involved, but a walkout seems appropriate. Short of that, non-cooperation and other methods of slowing and impeding implementation of #DeSantis policies are obligatory.
@meltedcheese @JoshuaHolland there are some teachers, who shouldn’t be educators, who are in support of most of Desantis policies. Had many similar teachers growing up in Baltimore County.
