Nathan Avots-Smith@Basmitharts on the 5er Touring, having the battery in the trunk—accessed via an electric tailgate latch. Dead battery = no access to battery (except by climbing through the interior).
On the i3, more insidious, the A-pillars are way too thick, and positioned in such a way as to frequently hide not-insignificant objects, such as pedestrians who might not hear the car coming 😬
Dexter@autonerdery @Basmitharts At least yours was a wagon; on the sedans the only option is to hook up another battery to the jump points under the hood.
