I have heard on a podcast once someone saying febuary, but I put that down as some weird dialect.

@fro_vo I mean, maybe we should go back to calling that day “Woden’s Day” (Greeks/Romans got most of the months, but Norse gods got the majority of the days). Everyone pronounces it like “When’s Day” now.

The later part of that meeting gets so much worse. A selection of Latin cardinal numbers:

septem - seventh
octo - eighth
novem - ninth
decem - tenth

If that makes you angry enough that you want to go back in time and stab the guy who screwed that up, I have good news.
