Thanks to @quam for suggesting a Shortcut - I had been tinkering with this idea but the trick is, for international destinations you have to feed an Apple Maps URL instead of just the name of the city. But I got it!

@jsnell Let’s figure out where Jason is going based on the weather!

Just kidding enjoy the time off ✌🏼

@jsnell @quam @CARROT we need this capability baked into Carrot, please!!!
@jsnell @quam ✅ Achievement Unlocked: New Capability
@jsnell @quam Cool idea, and seems like it will work for you! I keep wanting to like shortcuts for myself, but every time it seems like I think of the one *I* want...the app I’m thinking of doesn't support them :-(
@jsnell @quam Alternatively, ChatGPT to the rescue, which is trivial to build a shortcut around using a ChatGPT API token:

@jsnell @quam To be clear, I think your solution is all-round better. Relying on ChatGPT:
1. Is lazy
2. Is risky, as it relies on a 3rd party that may paywall it, take it down Not to mention the MANY reports of data issues.
3. Dumbs one down, i.e. instead of learning many different APIs and interacting with different datasources, you become complacent by only relying on 1.

So yeah, your’s is better, absolutely. But having a quick, skeleton ChatGPT Shortcut at the ready is useful in a pinch.
