Eventually Twitter will just be Elon tweeting at himself about how profitable it is and how his tweets have 100% of all engagement. He will periodically create copy's of his own account and ban them to keep things interesting. The rest of the internet will have long since moved on.

@georgetakei he has sold himself as this tech mastermind saviour of humanity very well. Heck, I even bought into some of his promises at some point.
His biggest asset is the trust people have on him and he has thrown that to the sewer.

The tech he promised has theoretical good applications, but I would definitely not use it if he's the one calling the shots.
We'll just have to wait until a more decent and ethical team gets funding for a similar research.
