Yesterday during the #SuperBowl my mom was very upset that the commentators made mention of how it was the first SB with two black starting quarterbacks. "Why do they have to focus on race?" she whined. "Just play the game!"

She was far less upset (by which I mean, she said nothing at all) when the broadcast showed Rupert Murdoch and Elon Musk sitting together, and the commentator referred to them as "some brilliant minds".

She's been well-trained on what to be offended by. 😑 #Capitalism
