Continuing my adventure in #vintage and #adapted #lenses here I tested this $7 on ebay #Prackticar #Pentacon 135mm f2.8. the bokeh is truly great and it is very sharp even wide open. I put this #Pancolar lens across the room maybe 10ft away and it can see the text. I set it to #ISO200 and used a #speedlite. Otherwise it would have been very grainy.
To adapt #practikar B mount to my #Canon #6D I actually just removed the old flange, did some calculations and 3D printed an adapter. It was a 1hr print on the #SLA #Mars3. I used their water based #resin, but next time I'm going to use my newest resin #resione #W90d. So far that's the best resin I've tried. They got a black version of it.
The bad part of this lens is that I bought it so I could take the aperture out and install it on my #projector #lens #adapter. So back to fully open fuzzy photos. Is there a shitty lens out there with a big ass #aperture that I can cannibalize the aperture from? I just don't want to spend too much money and then feel bad destroying something #vintage.
