If you spend anytime as a left or left-ish black person on the internet you will inevitably encounter someone touting Thomas Sowell as the irrefutable counter to left claims about inequality and race. They’ll note that no one will debate Sowell, so he must be correct. What they won’t note, or don’t notice, is that the reason no one engages with Sowell is that his claims are unbelievably flimsy and unconvincing.
