...POCKETS...POCKETS...POCKETS...
@OhNoSheTwitnt better yet, I know of a book that teaches you how to put pockets in everything! Then again, they shouldn't have to. But it feels empowering? Idk. Maybe it's just better to have pockets from the get go.
@OhNoSheTwitnt I've been boiling the dissolved corpses of her bosses for days, and I still haven't distilled out the souls. What am I doing wrong?

@johnefrancis @OhNoSheTwitnt

Once maceration is complete, reduce heat to simmer, strain out bones, and return to fire. Cover the reduction and simmer until condensation forms. Reduce heat again to low, and begin collecting said condensation. Repeat the collection process until all moisture has been removed from reduction.
Throw away leftover solids. Bottle/seal liquid condensation. While kneeling, present with black roses at feet, and bow head.

Update with reaction pics! ❤️🙏

@InsufficientC8H11NO2 @OhNoSheTwitnt what do I do with the screams? Just vent them?

@johnefrancis @OhNoSheTwitnt
Yes. Unfortunately, screams are fleeting and notoriously difficult to work with (think filo dough). Luckily, they are not integral to the efficacy of soul possession, so really, it's only euphonious experience you'd be losing.
Pro Tip: Durring the collection process, set up a simple recording device! Then your beloved can have a satisfying experience every time!

Let's face it. No one likes to ALMOST get there.

@OhNoSheTwitnt And pockets in every pair of pants and shorts not made of denim ! And no I'm not saying please...
@LeslieVS1965 @OhNoSheTwitnt whats with this not made of denim clause
@js
Because: All my denim things have pockets, don't yours?
@OhNoSheTwitnt
Now that #SewingIsMySuperpower, I'm creating an entire wardrobe of dresses, skirts, pants, leggings, aprons, and pyjamas with #pockets. Highly recommend!

@EllenInEdmonton

It's so easy to do, isn't it? There's really no excuse.

@anne_twain
Nah, it's not really that easy at all until you get into the groove. There's so much equipment/knowledge that's needed to really get going. I was lucky to learn it in school and I had a sewing mother. I sewed quite a bit when my kids were little and their tiny garments took very little time or fabric.

Now, I've been working away at this for the last 5 years. It helped a lot when I found a bunch of cheaper fabric, good patterns, and good instruction. I'm finally starting to get it.
@EllenInEdmonton I find it easy to add a pocket or two to a garment. I draft my own patterns so I can do what I like.
@anne_twain
I'm gradually feeling confident to start drafting some simple things. I learned how to copy the seamlines of my existing clothing and I mostly know how to modify them based on how my body has changed. I'm building up a pocket library and have sorted out how to sew inseam pockets along with French seams. Since I prefer clothing that's quite basic, I should be able to supply a lot of my own needs as time goes by. I have a pretty large fabric stash from my travels.

@OhNoSheTwitnt Pockets in every dress!? And I suppose you're also against Rick Scott's wise and hearty proposal to outlaw women's handbags!?

[Clutches the Bible and falls out of window with confetti in hair]

@OhNoSheTwitnt And talk with her…in person….be analog.
@OhNoSheTwitnt my favorite thing about this is that there was a post DIRECTLY above yours that was a sketch of Eunice Foote, often ignored in favor of one John Tyndall regularly given the false credit of discovering the greenhouse effect--3 years after Eunice ACTUALLY did so. i connected the two posts and absolutely saw nothing wrong with it, and it's now my headcanon that Eunice Foote, true discoverer of greenhouse gases, is THE model for "what she really wants for Valentine's Day". so tyfys.

@OhNoSheTwitnt

Soul pockets.
Fun and functional.

@OhNoSheTwitnt functional pockets too.... not those fake pocket flaps or too shallow to even hold a set of keys
@OhNoSheTwitnt Don’t forget voodoo dolls of select R electeds. Pins included!
@OhNoSheTwitnt In one of the books I am currently editing (the sequel to the one that is almost ready for publication), the protagonist becomes a Duchess and is most distressed (illegitimate daughter who had been working as a bar maid) to find that noble clothing doesn't have pockets. Since it's a fantasy, she insists on pockets which are then magically added and linked to a larger space, so that she can keep more stuff in her pockets and it never ruins the lines of the dress.
@OhNoSheTwitnt @david Sadly valentines is going to be a very painful day for me this year. Precisely a week before it. My fiancé broke up with me. It was what she wanted, and she got it.
@OhNoSheTwitnt I would take any two out of the four, to be honest.

Dangerous Coats
by Sharon Owens

Someone clever once said
Women were not allowed pockets
In case they carried leaflets
To spread sedition
Which means unrest
To you and me
A grandiose word
For commonsense
Fairness
Kindness
Equality
So ladies, start sewing
Dangerous coats
Made of pockets and sedition

@OhNoSheTwitnt haha.. so many responses about pockets....
Looks like we're unaffected by losing our body autonomy , .. cool, cool...

FML

@OhNoSheTwitnt pockets!!! I once bought leggings with no pockets by mistake and spent several days trying to sew the pockets on and I failed miserably… I finished one and it was a tragic, tight little pocket. Made me appreciate the designers, even in activewear, that actually remember to put in the properly designed pockets. A nice dress, with pockets?? Sign me up!
@OhNoSheTwitnt Hell yes!👏🏻👏🏻
@OhNoSheTwitnt time to invest in smartphone companies
@OhNoSheTwitnt And the superpower of eating endless chocolate without putting on weight

@OhNoSheTwitnt
AND a Ferrero Roche sampler.

I get snacky while thriving and reaching my full potential.

@OhNoSheTwitnt and real pockets in pants, small purses with lots of pockets and card slots, tool sets that are in primary colors & not pink, and something besides baby dolls in the girls toy aisles...
@OhNoSheTwitnt this gift is appropriate for all occasions.
@OhNoSheTwitnt Yes! Pockets! It’s about time women start requiring pockets! I drive my husband crazy with my incessant rants about the lack of pockets in women’s clothing and our patriarchal society, it’s no wonder that I love wearing menswear.
