"We remain especially cautious on Hasbro’s Wizards segment given its over-monetization of Magic. Wizards recently tried a similar tactic with D&D-proposing changes to its licensing agreement which led to substantial pushback from the community including calls to boycott the D&D movie."

Hasbro Slapped by Bank of America For 'Destroying Customer Goodwill'

Bank of America has once again stated that Hasbro continues to "underperform" while destroying customer goodwill.

@lodane

Back in November, BofA warned that Hasbro was printing too many MtG sets and it was unsustainable since it prioritized short term profits over brand value. Hasbro said, "Nuh uh, we'd never do that. Our record profits are proof the fans love us."

Now, BofA gets to say, "We told you so."

@o76923 Cynthia should read what people said about Loretta (fair or not) so she doesn't repeat TSR's history on that front (oversaturation, nickel-and-diming customers, etc.) since that's in the minds of many older users.
@lodane I agree with BofA's statements, but it's weird to hear them talk about over-monetization like it's a bad thing. What with them getting fined for junk fees.
