Minors don't belong in queer spaces. Sorry.
@grifkitty That insinuates that queer spaces are inherently sexual which I wholeheartedly disagree with. That kinda echoes the "don't bring kids to drag queen story hour" rhetoric.
@kepler Further context: don't start a witch-hunt on behalf of a minor you knew years ago who was told gently that they aren't welcome in 18+ chatrooms for safety reasons, and claim that informing someone of the dangers involved is harassment. Absolutely hinged behavior.
@grifkitty I'd amend your original point to clarify that, because as it stands it feels a little bit like gatekeeping queerness from minors who may be exploring their identity in their own queer spaces, or even simply kids tagging along with their parents to queer events. There's a huge difference between "queer spaces" and "18+ spaces"
@kepler Sure, done. I just had someone crawl out of the woodwork attacking one of my friends for what turned out to be a huge nothingburger, so I just needed to be bitter for a second.
@grifkitty It's absolutely insane what people choose to hold onto and be angry about. >.O
