It's time for #PaulsPuzzleReview looking at the kind of daily #puzzles, #WordGames, #NumberGames and stuff we play as we commute.
Nurdle https://www.nurdle.fun/ is in the Wordle mould but instead of telling you when the letters you guessed are in the word but in the wrong position it tells you if the letter in a particular position is alphabetically near to the correct letter. So if you guess C for the first letter of the word and it says you are 2 letters off then the first letter is A or E.
Nurdle is a little tricky to grasp at first but you soon get the hang of it (there is a practice mode though it's a little hidden in the settings). Fun to play, trickier than #Wordle without being too taxing.
Brave web browser reports that there aren't any ads or privacy invading nasties on the page either which is always a plus.

What with all the hoo ha about the New York Times removing a bunch of #puzzles from its website I thought it might be nice to publish a database of free to play daily puzzles and #wordgames, giving a short description of each plus info on whether it has ads or trackers on the page.
