Mike Schreiner has a real chance to defeat Doug Ford, a prospect he must relish given he sees the premier as the most serious threat to the Environment.
Schreiner has no ties with the former Liberal govts of McGuinty or Wynne, which still elicit negative sentiments from many #Ontarians. #Schreiner is electable. In fact, he may be the most respected person in the Legislature. He’s dynamic, well-spoken & isn’t seen as a radical on the #environment or other key issues.

@gemelliz Maybe the eight Ontario Liberal MPPs should join the Green Party?

@KitCenGreens

@karlmorant @gemelliz I have wondered about the possibility of the sitting MPP (and house leader) signing the letter means sh e might be open to crossing the floor. So many interesting conversations.
@KitCenGreens @karlmorant @gemelliz crossing the floor to what end? Greens have no realistic chance of defeating Cons. Further weakening Libs just perpetuates the problem. Greens would be way further ahead joining Libs or NDP. Progressives need to get it together to stop the fascists from running up the middle every time.

@garrattguy @KitCenGreens @gemelliz

The Liberals are tired, unresponsive, inconsistent, dull, and only do well when the Cons do bad things. It's often hard to tell the Cons and Libs apart.

I agree, progressives should work together. Progressive Liberals should join the Greens or the NDP, and small 'L' big business Liberals can join the Cons.

@karlmorant @KitCenGreens @gemelliz Electability is important. Name brand is important which is why Harper Reformers stole the Con name. They knew they wouldn’t win as Reform party of Canada. Mike S. leading a rebuilt Liberal party has a much better shot at winning than anything/anyone else including Ms Stiles whom I rather like and could vote for but again NDP and Liberals each with good leaders would be splitting the progressive vote.

@garrattguy @karlmorant @KitCenGreens @gemelliz
That's exactly what happened in NS. Majority of the vote came from the city of Hfx but it was split between the Liberals and NDP. The Cons Tim Houston got the provincial vote and here we are 🤬
