What would you say if a state in Germany today were to outlaw the teaching of any critical reading of history, suppress inquiry into structural/systemic antisemitism, and ban books by the most prominent Jewish intellectuals?

The equivalent is happening in Florida.

@tzimmer_history How many American kids taught about Ford's assembly line know that Henry Ford was a vehement antisemite admired by Hitler? How many kids in schools that don't teach about white supremacy are taught about Father Coughlin? How many know that in Olympics where Jesse Owens won his medal, a Jewish athlete didn't get to compete? Guess I'm wondering how much teaching there is in US public schools about antisemitism in America to start with.
