the Tesla Securities trial v. Elon Musk in N.D. Cal. in Judge Chen's courtroom will have closing arguments tomorrow morning and will be in the hands of the jury within about 2 1/2 hours after the opening bell Friday

things will kick off as usual at 8:30am PT

plaintiffs only have an hour-ish (generously) remaining and defendants have closer to an hour and a half (perhaps a little plus), so expect a healthy (is that the right word???) dose of spiro or rossman (probably the latter) and porritt

if things go smoothly (do they ever, exactly?) they will finish up around 11am Pacific, and jury instructions have already been given, and over defendants objections, the jury will—in fact—be given a written copy, so they will retire to deliberations then

no one ever knows how long these things take, but you can imagine a quick verdict being good for musk and bad for plaintiffs because there's a lot of maths to do if they find liability, but we really won't know until we know!

@chancerydaily I have always believed that jurors have at least as good a right to the jury instructions as the general public, so I am glad.
