@Iconfactory will there be Shortcuts support added? It would be cool to be able to increment the counter with the Action Button on my Apple Watch Ultra.

@Iconfactory Clicker is great for counting how often I have already stretch-and-folded my pizza dough (each half hour during a three hour period according to @neven) – would gladly pay for such a great app. #HintHint

@Iconfactory @bigzaphod so I don’t use Clicker daily, but it’s a great way to keep track of silly things. Like this is how I take note of how many Trick-or-Treaters we get every year. Then that helps us figure out how much candy to get the next year.

@wbrowar @Iconfactory @bigzaphod this is a perfect use case for me but I would love to keep multiple counters. Unless I’m “holding it wrong”, I can’t use Clicker for anything else if I want to keep my trick or treaters total

This is what I meant: would be awesome if there is a way you guys could get the Action Button on the Ultra to behave as the clicker.

@Iconfactory @dominoslater The problem is that apps can't do anything directly with the Action Button. It is only hooked up to Apple apps - we'd have to do it via Shortcuts with a shortcut you'd have to install. And that wouldn't be a very smooth experience (lots of intermediate steps).

You can always fudge the app and make it report as a workout app, since the AWU lets you choose the app and action performed by the button there.

(But other third party apps don’t).

@chockenberry @Iconfactory yeah I figured they would have kept that API to themselves. No rush — it’ll open up at some point, surely? Shortcuts will do for now. Looking forward to 1.0!
