Steps to buying climbing shoes:
1. Pray that REI has them in stock, and in your size. (unless they're Taranatulaces they don't)
2. Check all the local climbing gyms and small outdoor shops (if your REALLY lucky they have a dusty pair in the back someplace).
3. 20 rounds of buying online and returning until you find the right combo of in-stock and fit.
