Well, it looks #WotC did the right thing in the end with regards to the #OGL. This situation reminds me of this interaction from #Farscape.
Rygel: Look I—I know I can be selfish, but given a chance I can usually—
John: What? Do the right thing?
Rygel: Yes.
John: Rygel, I figure the right thing starts at the beginning of the day. Not after you've been caught.
Me? I’m mostly satisfied with this outcome. It doesn’t mean #WotC has regained my trust. Or that of any other gamer I know. There’s a lot about this whole situation that’s just bizarre, speaks poorly about the leadership of the company, and in general raises more questions than it answers.
But the situation has stabilized for now, and hopefully I can turn my attention to other, more important things.
