As I see the @Vivaldi toot about #FuzzyFridays...

Overall, I will try to do better at adding a description to my pictures for the visually impaired. I've already been trying to do that but, sometimes, I'm in a hurry or just forget. This will be a good reminder for me to do better.

However, I must say that, for my #Vintage advertisement posts, it's darn near impossible for me to describe them much less transcribe the text. Those will mostly have to do without extra text.

@KoHoSo As long as you're trying it's great, we have great understanding that it can slip your mind or there will be times when you're just not able to.
@Vivaldi @KoHoSo you can also tag them with #Alt4Me and others will describe the image for you👍

@KoHoSo

I mean, you can always just write "Unblur" into the alt-text field for your vintage posts. It's not like the site checks if the description corresponds with what's in the image.

@Vivaldi

@ABT554 @KoHoSo There's no way to check if the Alt text is proper, so we just have to trust people. 😄 The aim isn't to police people, but to raise awareness of people with impairments.

As Jaz mentioned there's also #Alt4Me where you can ask other people for help with alt text.

@Vivaldi

I'm obviously not suggesting you do that for everything ^^’

But if he says it's "darn near impossible for me to describe them", then I think it's better than having a post that's unrecognizable by everyone ^^’
