Jeremy Stanley@0xabad1dea getting to work without my laptop has been one of my deepest fears for a long time, particularly when I was carpooling. I never did it (but I did have to turn around halfway when a co-worker left their laptop at home once).

Called my boss back home (in Bulgaria), he went to the airport, described my laptop, and... they actually gave it to him.
