If you were going to listen to a podcast about #gardening , what sort of things would you like to listen to?
Most gardening #podcasts I’ve found are about home-gardening, like how to grow your own veggies and so forth. They cater to the cottage garden ideals and aesthetic.
I’m a high-end gardener and landscape designer with years of experience in the industry. I’ve entered competitions and won awards. I even run my own business.
But high-end garden maintenance is a world away from home garden maintenance.
Would there be a niche for a podcast about the techniques and mindset of professional gardeners?

@quon I can’t speak for anyone else, but I know me and a friend would absolutely love it!!

She’s starting out as a professional gardener, and I spend a chunk of time lighting them for events!

@quon rooftops.
@Andystopdancing Ooooh, niche! I like it
@quon access to/from, orientations etc
@quon Yes please. I am a home gardener but would very much like to renovate my patch and am not sure where to start.
@quon I’d love to get the deets on how to prune selectively and successfully - like Daphne and magnolias etc.
@Alikat747 I can definitely do a thing on pruning. Especially magnolias - I have way too much to do with magnolias! (Tip: you probably need to be more brutal than you think…)
@quon ahhh … ok! What about camellias??
@Alikat747 Prune hard after flowering - that can vary depending on what type of camellia. Don’t touch it once buds have appeared, camellias are stubborn bastards and won’t grow more once they’re gone.
@quon this is good to know … thanks! (Follow back?)
@quon (look at me, pestering you for free advice … shameful!) ps: I’m going to follow you :)
@Alikat747 Knowledge about plants should be free for everyone. (Me using my creativity and muscles… noooot so much!)
