Subscription is a good model for this type of software if there is a way to evaluate it.
UPDATE: you need to subscribe then remember to unsubscribe to do a trial. I’ll wait on this.
@jgordon There is a week’s free trial. I believe premier is just currently a way to support them a bit more.
You have to remember to cancel or you get into the weekly subscription cycle. I know the App Store is hell to deal with but Ithought there were better trial policies.
@jgordon I think this is pretty standard these days with the free trials on subscriptions.

During this month, there’ll be notifications about your subscriptions which might serve as a reminder.
If you’re really wanting to be reminded in that first week I find emailing
[email protected] works really well…
Or you could just cancel immediately and it’ll keep working until 7 days after you started.

@in_sympathy Mainly wanting to support a small indie dev company that just had their livelihood taken away overnight. But I like the feel of the UI a lot more than the other apps I’ve tried.

I want Tapbots to have maximum support to help them make Mastodon a truly viable alternative to the other site. It already looks great and works very well despite it’s “early access” status.
