Today I spoke to about twenty people who work in various jobs in TV, digital media, music production, transport, education, and art & design. Only one of them had heard of #Mastodon and nobody had heard about #ChatGPT.

I sometimes wonder if people only learn about new things when they are chatting over the garden fence. "Ooh, have you 'eard? Mrs B at number six is 'avin that fancy elastic trickery installed. It won't do 'er no good I can tell you. I'll stick with me whale oil lamps."
