Vince@historyofpunkrock o god…. My brain says I should be one of The Cool Kids and pick Wire but Discharge is so visceral. Marquee Moon has that glorious title track but the rest? Fresh Fruit has so many nice memories but so does SLF. And so on. By the time I made a choice the tape would be old and demagnetised.
nofrills♥️🖤🤍💚@vince @historyofpunkrock A couple of months ago, when we had a total lunar eclipse here in Tokyo, I listened to the Marquee Moon album in full for the first time in ages while walking and looking at the blood red moon. It was magical. Highly recommended.
My punk rock choice would be the SLF and Discharge.
@nofrills hmmm… you’re probably right. I’m basing my opinion what 20YO me thought at the time. I’ll give it another go.
