Yeah I am definitely watching soon! I ended up cowatching The Money Pit today with a friend heh. The movie that taught a generation to ALWAYS get a survey if buying a house. 😂

The whole franchise? Even Resurrection? Heh. I’m a completionist and a masochist so I’ll rewatch it but oof there’s some weird stuff in there that doesn’t quite land.
I was (am) doing a watch of Monster Movies. I don't love all of the alien movies but they just had to be watched!!!
With my memory, all I remember of that one is what I posted on twitter about it though.. And that was that its the one with a badass wheelchair user in it lol. I remember basically one moment of one scene where he had to ditch his wheelchair. 😂 (Twitter is basically my memory, sigh. One reason I am terrified of losing it)
Funnily on this watch, the one I enjoyed the most was Prometheus. (Because of Shaw)
I try so hard to love Prometheus, but all I manage is to love the visuals - and yes Shaw because she’s freaking awesome.
Having just seen Alien I was struck by how much of the world they established in the first film. The Xenomorph, the external/internal of the Engineer’s ship, etc. I always wonder how filmmakers feel when they’re working with designs and decisions made over 30 years ago.
I guess if they don’t like it they’ll retcon the heck out of it right?
