Moving out of Ohio to keep my #TransKid safe and my current employer won't let me take my hybrid job full remote, despite the reason.

Anyone got any full remote #CyberSecurity jobs open? I'm a blue teamer with experience in incident response, endpoint protection, email security, and SIEM engineering. Can probably settle in to #ThreatHunting or #ThreatIntel pretty quickly too!

[Edit 7/10/23: We've relocated to Oregon and are getting settled into a lovely Portland suburb with more pride flags than cars. Cheers to a new life!]

@hacks4pancakes We're heading to Western Oregon where we have loving family- something we unfortunately don't have here. My spouse is from there and we love it there so I know once we get settled we'll all be pretty happy. :)

@hacks4pancakes I feel terrible about leaving because I want to stay and fight, but ... I'm just so tired. I think of all the families who can't leave places like Texas, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio... and I just want to cry.

They're ghouls, the whole lot of them.

@hacks4pancakes My spouse keeps telling me, "You can't save the world when you're drowning."

It's usually about guilt when I don't recycle a soda can, but same idea applies here.
