You know what I notice about the pics at the World Evonomic Forum in Davos? The HEPA filters in every room. And that they’re all sitting around in their coats. Because the windows are probably open (for ventilation).
Not to mention that we know a negative PCR test was required for their badges to work.
We now know how to gather safely. We’re just treating those things as luxuries afforded only to the rich, while our kids’ schools are full of every respiratory virus.

@NoticingTheGap The UK 's approach to the masses is "living with Covid" - the first booster (after the two initial jabs) was the last vaccine made available to under 50s. Over 50s can still get boosted, but everyone else is basically encouraged to ignore it: all mandatory measures have been lifted, tests can only be obtained commercially, and any self isolation is offered at your employer's discretion.
Yet 22% of the UK workforce (2.5m people) are on long term sick leave.

In reality, few people care now, same as before.

And we have many politicians saying instead, with a straight face, that we should allocate part of the schools budget to make sure every teacher has a gun.
And have UV lights running. VERY likely the 222 nm Far UV that is skin-safe, but fries viruses and bacteria in the air.

Gathered at an alpine resort the wealthy and influential are not taking chances they have mandatory testing and air filtration UV germicidal irradiation lights and they even wear masks they are taking the steps to protect themselves but all you peons had better get back to work.
The diffetence between how the rich protect themselves from covid compared to their public protection prouncements of the rich, explaining you dont get, I mean, you dont need, protection.
