Well... they are Elected Politicians who are trolling like teenagers because it gives them attention.
The law appears to have no teeth and be based on extremely stupid logic.
ElectricRedPanda@euronion California and other large liberal states are making the push to end new ICE vehicle sales by 2035. Because a lot of American conservative political identity is do the opposite of the liberals, this is what we end up with. As if this was not performative enough, I believe they’re planning to send this Wyoming piece of legislation to the Governor of California.
in conclusion, EV liberal, therefore EV bad and must be banned

Ultimately, it’s only symbolic since Wyoming has no market power as the least populous state. Other conservative states like Texas and Georgia are actively investing in EV manufacturing, because they understand that’s where the good jobs and money are going to be.
