Excited to see that I've broken the top 50k rank with this one. Granted, that's not much in sales, but it's more than this series has done in a while and it remains the favorite series that I've written. Also, now is a good time to shamelessly post that one time this series was the number one bestselling humorous fantasy book. Yes, it was for a whole 12 hours, but whatever, it happened.

Good morning! Looks like I'm book neighbors with Good Omens again. A little further down the list this time around, but it's still cool!

So far, I'm pleased with this promo. It's not going to suddenly catapult me back into the spotlight, but I've sold 40 copies and there are still 3 days left for the sale. I paid $10 for a promo spot on Saturday and I've at least made double that back now. And if any of these folks actually read and enjoy it, that will be even better.

@ChrisJagged fussy librarian. I hadn't used them for a paid book before, but they were running a sale, so I figured I'd try.

@VampiresAndRobots Never heard of them. Maybe I'll take a look next time I'm in a sale mood.

@ChrisJagged they do decently for free books too. I've scaled back a lot on paid promotion, mostly because I'm just not seeing the same numbers I used to and I can't tell how much of that is due to my books being old and how much is readers having too many choices.

@ChrisJagged no problem! And yeah, I haven't seen 2k downloads in many years. I think I top out around 500 for most promos these days, and I don't get the trailing sales either.

@VampiresAndRobots I'm actually doing pretty well with my newest right now in KDP, which is a pleasant surprise given that it had the slowest start I've had for a while. Dunno what changed. I won't hold my breath that it'll last, my fortunes are a rollercoaster and by the time my next book comes out no one will want to read my stuff anymore😄
