@PickPoppies I have a couple of allotments but I live in a flat with no outdoor space so they are my back yard.
My bigger allotment (below) backs on to an orchard that you can see behind the yellow car. Much more than just food. It’s a nature gateway! (But also the food because I’m greedy!) 😂
I have hardly any grass, just for paths and even then most of my paths are compost paths now!

@DirtyGardenHoe Yes, there was a trend at least here some years ago that left you feeling guilty if you grew pretty flowers, everything had to be food. 3rd pic is my favorite! I have a terrace with two raised beds, the struggle is real, but at least it's something
