@snarkysteff How nice of Lyft to give people free rides to job interviews 😃 — after putting legions of full-time cab drivers out of work so they could be replaced with lower-paid, part-timers with no benefits and less rigorous background checks. The American Dream lives!🙄

@JMaverickJacks1 That’s a whole other conversation. Right now there are people who need jobs and can’t get to them, who this will help, and I don’t give a fuck about opening up that big can of worms if putting this out there gives someone the chance to get a job that may dramatically change the direction of their lives.

But you’re more than welcome to start that conversation elsewhere.

And maybe your issue is with the government policies that allowed that to happen.

@snarkysteff I mean no insult to you, and I hope that the free rides help many job seekers. As for government policies involved, they are largely influenced by years of corporate lobbying by Lyft and Uber. But I’m sure you mean well, personally, and I wish you well. We can disagree without being disagreeable.😃❤️
