@Twigs I'd walked the nature trails, where the ancient hawthorn hedge grows, for decades....it was the first time I'd ever seen hair ice. A few people I follow experienced hair ice at a similar time - weather must have been just right for it in Scotland that week
@WanabeSelkie I was near not far from where I was today when I saw mine too. In the woods it was probably the same time, I remember it was a bitterly cold day
