I have been using #UnifiedPush for a week now, and i see it as a life saver cause i'm holding a degooglized android. I'm using it with NextPush
So the question here is, why is it not implmeneted widely? is there a catch? i can only use it on #matrix and #mastodon , but not other stuff like NextCloud, RocketChat, Signal, hell even telegram which has an open source client, did not implement it, why?

@linuxawy Where is the option to select unified push distributor on tusky? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

@Le0 in my setup i can see it in the notification settings in fedilab, and also i can see it in the registered applications in NextPush

@linuxawy Unfortunately I don't have the respective settings in both the apps. Guess I will have to "believe" its working.

@Le0 well, may be you should try using another app for either parts to confirm, ntfy or fedilab.. but if you are getting a notification for this message then you are propably fine
