@glowrocks I'm sure that's part of it. Another part might be "affects me l doesn't affect me." A lot of resistance to the pandemic is kneejerk contratianism, so if it doesn't hurt them then it doesn't matter. @k_theory

@glowrocks @k_theory The hypocrisy is a feature, not a bug. Conservatives want there to be ingroups and outgroups to whom the law applies differently.

The good thing about this is that their bigotry is there for all to read, forever.
Years from now, Twitter is going to be a treasure trove of evidence of what kind of people you come from, as science increasingly shows personality and intelligence are genetic.
Unlike the Nazis, these people will not be able to crawl back under their rocks and lie to their grandchildren.

@jason I posted this image four weeks ago, for some reason it took off just this past week. I didn't want to delete and re-draft altogether, because it'd delete all the replies and boosts people made already. and Unfortunately this is the best I could do, that I know of. I will be more careful next time to include alt text properly.

@k_theory oh I was somewhat asking honestly, I thought maybe it fell short in some way, but got it.

It did sort of push down my entire timeline so that only one post fit the screen, though, which was where my interest stemmed.
