Why is your favorite clan your fav?
Do you identify with them the most? Are they different from vampire stories/themes/etc you were more familiar with before? Do they best fit your favorite tropes? Just the best place for your self-insert oc?
Are they even a clan? Caitiff, Thin-blooded, revenants, dhampir, & ghouls count for this too if you like to play them the most or to start out.

@C0ffin Honestly I never felt like a 1:1 match for any specific clan. My first two faves back in the 90s were the Malkavians and Gangrel.
Malks because I liked the idea of being free of constrictive norms and maybe tapped into a higher awareness. (That changed a bit as I learned more about mental health IRL.)
Gangrel... honestly it was the claws. lol I was 17 what do you want? 🙃
Okay, seriously, though, both of them also had kind of an "outsider" vibe that felt very relatable to teen me.
