A winter photo for #Wedsneigh from three years ago while we were living where there is snow. I don't honestly think any of us miss it! This is Margarita (left) and Bonita, better known as Sugar (right), two of my lovely GaliceƱos. Working with a critically endangered breed has its challenges, but these marvelous friends bring so much joy and hope.

@sunnymyers Yes, even though their personalities are somewhat different from dogs, they can be equally good and intelligent companions. It's annoying that so many people view them as stupid and fearful.
