Welp, we're a plague house now. For the first time, as far as we know.
Jalan had a positive rapid test last night, on CDC-defined Day 2. She went out for a PCR this morning, because, if it happens, #LongCOVID clinics often require them in the record.
And she's living upstairs for awhile. At least our house is set up that she can isolate.
#CVS was no fucking help of course. They accepted my money, though.
That;'s a conversation to have with them Monday.
It certainly doesn't help that she can't take the weekend down. Yesterday and today are days 8 and 9 (each of them ~9 hours) of 9 of a professional workshop for her new career that has been supposed to start tomorrow.
Having to do make-up days would not only delay the credential but cost hundreds of dollars. So she's forcing herself through...
Ugh. Just checked. I wouldn't be able to take Paxlovid with ~7 of my daily meds on the interactions list, including one hard no.
And Dragonlet is too small.
Fitbit says I got 5 minutes of REM last night, out of 8h3m asleep (out of 9h15m between sleep and full wake).
That feels about right.
Part of my fear of covid all along has been the PEM it will cause, even if covid itself weren't to have long-term effects (I know it does).
