Twitter finally sent employees who were laid off in November their separation agreements yesterday. The emails "point[ed] to a URL that was registered this morning from a vendor with a 1 star BBB rating," according to a former employee. The company then had to send a second note: "This email was an official company communication and is not a phishing attempt," it says. Twitter blamed "a court order obtained by plaintiffs' attorneys" for the delay in sending the agreements.
@zoeschiffer what a class organization through and through.
@ryanmfrancis @zoeschiffer stoopid libturd, how dare you call elon incompetent, i've never seen you fire rockets into space
@zoeschiffer A company full of web engineers and they couldn't find a server that they could implement this on? And a 1 star rated host? Jeezus - there are so many better hosts that would be able to handle the traffic from a couple thousand ex-employees without any issue. Sheesh...
@zoeschiffer My "this is not a phishing attempt" shirt has people asking questions that are answered by my shirt
@zoeschiffer I, for one, can’t imagine a better way of doing this
@zoeschiffer Class action cometh? While Twitter may still have tens of millions of accounts, they aren’t driving enrollment. Right wing trolls are essentially yelling into an empty room. Federated social media will win in the end. Musk can try and keep his “pony and trap” going for as long as he wants though. lol
@zoeschiffer well, if elan @ totallynotascam dot com said the previous email is legit I guess I should open it
@zoeschiffer correction, Twitter went some employees not including me a separation agreement
@zoeschiffer Sent SOME employees. Many didn't get either communication or only got one.
