So tired of people not knowing what clickbait is and accusing every title or phrase of being clickbait.

Hey, you don’t like the title? Cool. You don’t like what the title talks about? Sure. You don’t like that titles have to be short? I can dig that.

But unless the title is a gross misrepresentation of reality, or the content of what you’re going to watch or listen, it IS NOT CLICKBAIT.

@0 I’m not talking about articles but videos, specifically mine.

I’m not saying all things people call clickbait are not clickbait. I’m saying people need to stop calling EVERYTHING clickbait.

@thelinuxEXP I don't care if you are nice to me or not. You can call me whatever you want. I fight for free speech and the ability to say anything. Please re think why the mastadon platform exists and the ability to self host your own servers.

@0 Well you might not care, but if you come in and start insulting me, I’m going to block or mute you. You wouldn’t do that to a stranger in the street (at least not if you’re a sane human being), no reason to do it to another stranger on the internet, or you’re getting the same reaction you would’ve gotten IRL.

Mastodon wasn’t created for free speech it was created to have a social platform not controlled by a big company ;)

@thelinuxEXP Exactly, I am not controlled by any big company, I am not on the mastadon.social instance as you might have (NOT) noticed. Therefore I am still going to promote free speech when possible, and in return say whatever is on my mind freely.

@0 Then don’t get annoyed if people mute or block you, or your entire instance. Free speech doesn’t come with freedom of consequence, it’s a double edged sword.
