There's no rule that says the speaker must be Republican. Republicans chose to burn their house down, not sure why we'd want to throw them a lifeline by offering to help get one of theirs as speaker. Wait while they destroy themselves and Americans are so sick and disgusted that all the Republican house members from swing states can see their only hope of keeping a job is Jefferies. 🤷‍♀️
