I favor the Buddhist teaching that hope is an illusion. Hope will prevent many people from taking action. I can't hope that l live through brain surgery without having secured a competent neurosurgeon. Hoping incompetent people with tyranny on their minds will see the light can be deadly. A plan of action must come first.
