Loves gardening, my cat, being with family and friends. I hate seeing what is happening with our planet. Pro-choice, pro-democracy, hold them accountable. We need responsible gun laws. Pro LGBT. Pro worker, anti Citizens United.
Teaching kids where to hide when the shooter arrives is not a proper solution. Similarly, nor is providing social media users with opt-out options to avoid the dogpile.
Some things can't be fixed by telling people how to avoid becoming targets. Some things need to be fixed by removing the weapons.

Try this if you know someone living in a media bubble. It worked with a relative who only gets their news from CNN or MSNBC. It really opened her eyes.

Email articles from TRUSTED sources. I emailed about 10 articles that cited what the GOP is doing to widen the wealth gap and make life impossible for those without means. She didn't read all of them, but the headlines got her attention. She asked, "when did all this happen?" She had no idea, as CNN & MSNBC don't mention these stories.
