Ted Spence@ethanschoonover random story: I went to a market research screening for the film Van Wilder Party Liaison. (Released as “Van Wilder”) I was invited to attend the focus group afterwards. While talking about the film I mentioned Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and the marketing team had never heard of it. Fast forward a few years and Ryan Reynolds includes a Ferris Bueller reference at the end of Deadpool.
I can claim it was me that gave him the idea. You can’t disprove it.
