Kinda hurts when you spend weeks working on the onboarding experience for existing users so that they *get* free access, and then they write a review saying that 1 year of free access feels like a 'slap in the face' for existing users.

Zones costed $4.99, Zones+ Annual subscription costs $19.99, where does the messaging go wrong?

@Viditb I thought the (optional) subscription was only for additional (new) features?

The replies here introduced some doubt about whether that thought is correct and your website does not mention Zones+? https://squircleapps.com/zones

Where can I read the details?

Zones: Time Zone Conversion

Zone: Time Zone Conversion

@prosumer You can read about the subscription details here: https://squircle.blog/zones-plus-is-coming-soon/

Basically, it’s holiday info, weather details and reminders that the subscription is required for. For existing users, all the zones+ features are free to use for one year.

Zones+ is coming soon

Starting next month, our time zone conversion app, Zones is going to be available for free to everyone and users will be able to subscribe to Zones+ to get more out of the app.

@Viditb That confirms what I remembered. Thanks.

I’m not interested in the extra features (even disabled temperature display), but I still have all the features I paid for (and I enjoyed those before they got free).
